Gondia Education Society (GES) is a prominent educational Society in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, India, Established in 1958 by the visionary philanthropist and social worker, Late Shri Manohar Bhai Patel.  GES has significantly contributed to the educational development of the Gondia and Bhandara districts. The society’s mission is to provide quality education to the underprivileged, particularly in rural and tribal areas, thereby empowering individuals and fostering community development. The society is recognized as the largest educational society under the jurisdiction of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University and the state of Maharashtra.

As a Director, I am delighted to be a part of this dynamic community dedicated to academic excellence, research and service. C. J. Patel College Tirora is one of the colleges flourishing under the patronage of GES, Established in 1966. Since its establishment the college has been working for the welfare of the students of this rural and Naxalite infested area. The college has been continuously making efforts towards achieving excellence in the education sector. We encourage critical thinking. We create an environment where ideas thrive and individuals are empowered to reach their potentials.
